2fa keeps getting disabled

Since January, my dual factor authentication is getting disabled nightly. Before that it has been enabled for 5 years. Apple support has been unable to explain how this is possible.

I have never heard to 2fa being disabled. I have heard of accounts being disabled, iPhones being disabled, Apple Pay Cash being disabled, but not 2FA. Are you sure that it what it says exactly?
