Unsupported message iPod
I have a 7th generation iPod and I’m getting an unsupported message when I plug it in my car. Why is that?

It means that the device showing the message (you didn't state whether the message is on the iPod or your car's display) does not recognise the device at the other end of the connection. In some cases the two devices will play successfully every time. In others, they will not.
