I removed my payment method before i refunded

I accidently bought something on apple tv, and i panicked i looked through purchases and it had no receipt on it, I removed the payment method I bought the show with before i requested a refund, then I And requested for a refund, will the money go back to the card/bank account even though I already removed it and its not on the receipt?
