one of my considering buying Apple Watch is whether it’s microphone can be used in lieu of iPad microphone?
This is for Virtual Phone App with iPad Speaker On. Use case is similar to conferencing call where multiple persons need to listen (to phone conversation).
this is useful for my supporting Mom on her phone communication which involves technical questions she need my explanation.

The main interconnection for Apple Watch is to the paired iPhone, and use as a remote microphone is not even supported for iPhone. In the current software versions iPad does not support any functions of Apple Watch.
