erased from my camera sd but cannot find on MacBook Pro image capture

I plugged my camera in, selected the pictures , they appeared to upload pictures were deleted off my camera and now they are gone. not on my card and nowhere on my computer

Help! Plugged in SD card and photos not showing I took the SD card out of my camera and plugged it in to the side of my MacBook (something I’ve done many times before). When I click on Nikon in the locations tab, the photos showed up for a moment and are now gone. Folder shows as empty. I also went in to Photos library and tried to open from there and it says “no photos”. When I try to eject the memory card it says “Disk Nikon wasn’t ejected because one or more programs may be using it. Don’t want to force eject in case that really deletes everything. Any idea how to find out what program is using the disk? Having a minor heart attack, hoping they’re not actually gone.

some photo(JPG) missing on SD card on Mac, But can see on camera and pc Hi I found that some of the photo are missing on the SD card when connect it to my mac. I can't find them in Finder. But there photos can read properly on the camera and the PC. Could anyone tell me how to fix it? all the photos are JPG. and taken by Fuji X pro 3. Only some new photos i took recently can't show up. All other photos are fine. Also I checked that these missing photo were not hidden on Windows.

Lost photos After one (or multiple) Mac OS upgrade, thousands of random photos have disappeared from my Photos app. There are just labeled blank spaces for them now. How can I recover them? I am at Monterey 12.6.

it was set to delete after upload in image capture . Z9 lost everything
