My watch charging cord doesn't match an port I have for charging. Do I need another component?

I just opened the box and am excited to get started but the phone needs charging.

Any 3rd party USB-C power brick will work.


20watts or greater is preferred, although the Apple Watch will not use anymore power than it needs, so buying larger wattage is a waste.


Or the Macbook USB-C power brick.


Or get a USB-A to USB-C adapter.
