Refusal to refund

Customer service was horrible. I purchased an App advertised at one price and was charged another. Apple’s answer: not eligible for refund I spoke with someone on chat and the phone and it seems no one is able to assist this formerly loyal Apple consumer

So I went to get a refund and Apple said no. The app company said first you have to cancel the subscription and then you have to delete the account then you issue the refund… so i deleted my subscription and account and apple said sorry we already said no. The company said it should work now but apple said you cant submit a third time. The company found a glitch in the system.

Absolutely atrocious dating app Elite Singles, paid for premium membership which has never been applied to my account despite multiple emails. Should have read Trust Pilot reviews - the app has 1 star (zero is not an option) and many many people reported similar terrible experience. Sadly, Apple denied the refund and the appeal without any explanation. Seems completely random- not sure they even looked into my case. I will use other ways of payment wherever possible after this (PayPal, credit cards) where if there is a problem, they’ll look into it and refund.
