Emergency Bypass not Working

Hey, so, I have used the Emergency Bypass function without issue for years. I have an XS Max….sometime in the last several months, it stopped working if my phone is set to silent….which is the whole purpose of emergency bypass. Wondering if there are any settings I should be looking into. I have both ringtone and text tone set to emergency bypass already in Contacts.

Emergency Bypass Not Working Hello, Ever since the iOS 16 update the Emergency Bypass on my iPhone 11 is not working. Today I missed an emergency call from a family member. I have tried everything listed in previous community postings to fix this issue, including all of Apples suggestions. This problem happens with the Emergency Bypass I have set up for different contacts for both ring and text tone. I have a family member with a serious health issue so this matter is extremely important to me. Please advise. Thank you.

emergency bypass not working I saw an earlier question on this, and it does not look like there was a resolution. I’m wondering if there is any update. I have had both of my children on emergency bypass since they’ve had phones. It all of a sudden stopped working. I have confirmed that emergency bypass toggle is still on for both of them for both text and ringtone. I have tried turning my phone off and then back on again, editing their contact information to remove emergency bypass and then turning the phone off. Turning it back on, and resetting emergency bypass. Nothing works. There is no issue with the volume or him being able to hear music or anything else when the phone is on silent.

Emergency Bypass Not Working on IOS 16.3.1 Hello everyone, I have a really frustrating issue. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max on IOS 16.3.1. My emergency bypass is not working as expected and I have tried EVERYTHING. I have emergency bypass turned on for both my spouse and sibling. Today my spouse was frantically trying to reach me and I had no idea until I checked my phone and saw 6 missed messages. I have verified my notifications, sounds, emergency bypass settings. I have also reset the settings under each contact and have toggled them on/off in the Settings. I have also attempted hard restarting my phone, toggling iMessage, and deleted my wallpapers. I have validated my focus and DND settings and nothing is working!! is anyone else experiencing this issue? Is it a known issue?

The item in your screenshot that looks suspicious to me are those six hundred thirty eight unattended to voicemails.

They lead me to become suspicious of your iPhone storage use. Check Settings > General > iPhone Storage and be certain you never have less than 6GB free.
