White Screen on iPhone after iOS 16.6 Update

Happened to me yesterday .

Yes, I started facing this issue after updating.

A temporary solution was doing a force restart. I hope Apple pays attention to this cause this is an extremely annoying thing, especially for me, who has no easy way of accessing anything work related without my phone.

They are saying that that's not our fault there is hardware issue so you should pay and replace the hardware

I am facing the same issue on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, after updating to IOS 16.6 the phone got stuck at white screen, Force restart didn’t help either, My phone is out of warranty and when I reached out to service Centre and Apple support both claim it’s a hardware issue and say I need to get the display replaced, which is complete BS..

Yes I have screen error after software update

Apple support directed me to a repair center and I had to pay to replace the screen.

Had this issue after updating 16.6 which is kinda annoying. I tried restoring via itunes and disabling 120hz frame from settings yet I ended using a diffirent smartphone. I think it's a combination of hardware and software defect hope we get a response from Apple.

The same thing happened with my brother’s iphone (13 pro max) too. The screen started to flicker then turned into white screen but I was able to call him and he was able to attend my calls. So we called to Apple support they told us to try restart but nothing changed and they asked some info about the vibration is still working on silent switch or not we said it’s working fine. Then they booked an service appointment to the nearest aptronix. Store workers informed that they will check the software bugs and after 1 hr they told us the display is not working u have to change the whole display for 33k Rs. We asked how the display gets fault by software update they said they don’t know that but it is not software problem. Now after the service I am not able to call him too. I don’t know what happened in that service please if any apple supporters are looking into this please solve our issue.

Same issue faced by me. Flickering screen after an update next day screen gone completely white. No physical damage no water damage.

Apple support nor the service guys are ready to accept it.

can you please help with further course of action.They are charging a bomb for this.

after the update I’ve got a green band like line on my iPhone X just above the battery indicator and the line continues on the other side but with no discolouration and it also flickers sometimes. Apple do something

I am facing an issue from imessage. From iphone to iphone , messages are getting trasffered like normal text SMS over both wifi and mobile data .

Issue has been persistent amongst iPhone 13 series users globally and apple seem to not being accepting the same. Have spoken to 2 different “Case Owners” for my issue and they both denied any such issues being reported. Very upsetting because the phone is just 1 year 9 months old and used with uttermost care.
