This longstanding issue for many users is apparently still not resolved.
I'm losing 50% of my battery within less than 6 hours (overnight, i.e. phone is not even in use) of which Music battery usage is over 37%, even with background app refresh disabled and the Music app closed.
For now I've just uninstalled the Music app completely, but that's not an ideal solution either.
@ Apple - why are you simply ignoring this?

So even with the Apple Music app uninstalled, the battery drain continues........last night 50% gone within 6 hours, without touching the phone......so I guess it's Apple Support time.
It’s a longstanding bug that needs fixing. I’m surprised it’s been going on for this long.
