Sometimes in the past, Apple has also stopped offering the larger capacity models of the older model phones. What Apple will do in the future, only Apple knows. It is also possible that the next series of iPhones will have higher base prices.
My advice to you would be if your heart is set on one of the iPhone 14 Pro models, buy it sooner rather than later. If you want the basic iPhone 14 and you don't need a phone right now, wait and see.
