How to install and use an external webcam

For adult website purposes, i use my iMac and screen cast to my 70" TV so i can view my computer in front of me and i need a webcam underneath the TV. I have to cameras here and my computer does not acknowledge either. I understand they are security cameras and Ive read plenty to comprehend everything. I cant find anything specific for the camersas i have. One is a geeni scope and the other is a wyze pan cam. I loaded the firmwear for the wyze camera and attempted to follow the steps to no avail. Can anyone help please?

You need to contact the makers of these devices for assistance, as neither are Apple devices.

To clarify, the people here on apple discussions only use external webcams made by apple? I never knew such things existed.

Not sure how you got that inference from what I wrote, but good for you. However, the advice remains: the devices that are causing problems are made by other people, and it is to those people you go for assistance.

The reason I am asking on here is because the wyze camera does have instructions which I followed accordingly but with no success and the geeni camera is a very popular camera, i attempted to follow the instructions on it but the software for the live streaming is not compatible with the website. The program the website uses is called open broadcaster software which Ive already installed and attempted as well.

Again, these are all third party devices and software... and it is with their makers you should seek assistance.
