Logged in on someone else’s computer

I had to log into my apple account for work on someone else’s Mac because my laptop was lost at the airport. I forgot to log off of that computer & I think someone has been using it.

Mac mini (M1, 2020)

Did you login at iCloud.com? If so that would be your iCloud ID.


The first thing to do is change the iCloud ID password. If you change the iCloud ID you'll lose all of the purchases you've made in the App Store for your Mac and iPhone.


Next go into work and see if you can get on that Mac and sign out of your iCloud login. You may need to use the new password if you've already changed it so have both of them available to you.
