How do I get a new phone number

Contact your carrier to get a new number or change a current number.

Where is your SIM card / phone number from your previous iPhone?

If you are satisfied and want to continue with the same carrier, you can use the SIM card from the ‘old’ iPhone.

That is also handy then you don't have to change anything, you use the same number.

If the SIM format is different, visit or contact your carrier and request a replacement SIM card, normally it is free.
