Storage iPad

I’m trying to figure out a way to get all the apps that I have deleted or offload to stop showing up on my iPad storage but I haven’t had any luck I also wanted to know if I erase all content and setting not bc I’m giving my iPad away or anything but to simply clear the iPad storage would I be able to sign back into my iCloud and would it just bring all the iPad storage back or give me a clean slate . I have the iPad air 2 version ipados 15.4.1 also I got in from Walmart used and it has a battery shortage and sometimes it’ll power off by itself then come back on should I go to Walmart or take it to an nearby Apple store ?

Hey trippieshaa,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.

Offloading your apps will not remove the documents and data associated with them, however deleting apps removes the app and data associated with it. "Depending on the app, you might be able to delete some of its documents and data." For more information, click here:How to check the storage on your iPhone and iPad.

A factory restore erases the information and settings on your device. This includes removing any apps that were installed without your knowledge and resetting your privacy settings so you aren’t sharing location with any people or apps. It also installs the latest version of the operating system.

There isn't a way to completely erase all storage space because some of it is from the iOS software, settings, built in apps, etc. If you would like to steps to erase to factory settings, tap here: How to erase all content and settings.

We suggest creating a backup before erasing, in case you decide you would like to restore it. See this article to back up your iPhone: Back up iPad.

If you purchased an extended warranty through Walmart when you purchased the iPad, we recommend contacting them or the company that the extended warranty is through. They will be able to determine next steps regarding your battery issue.

If you didn't purchase an extended warranty through Walmart, you can have the device serviced at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider near you. We suggest scheduling an appointment prior to going into the store. You can locate and schedule appointments using the Apple Support app if installed on your iPad or by clicking on this link: Find Locations

If you do not have the Apple Support app installed, you can download it here: Apple Support on the App Store

Take care.
