My phone is hot and does not cool down and battery dies very quickly

if you are out in the sun i would recommend put your iOS device inside your house or a nearby cool shelter. If not shut of your phone for a few minutes, could be something inside the device. If this continues contact Apple. **DO NOT PUT PHONE IN ICE.**
