When i had no sim i entered my passcode and it said it was incorrect and it was right

So today i had gotten a notification stating "NO SIM AVAILABLE" so i restarted my iphone. After i turmed it back on and tried to enter my passcode. Ive had this passcode for a while now so im sure this isnt wrong. But when i did try to enter my passcode it said it was wrong. Time went by and i now have one more attempt before i lose everything. Also i dont have saved backups of this phone. What do i do?

Troubleshooting "No SIM" and a Locked iPhone:

A. Troubleshooting "No SIM":

If "No SIM" is shown on the top-left corner of your screen, go here to fix that: If you See 'invalid SIM' or 'no SIM' on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

B. Learn to Back Up:

Important: Learn from this, knowing to always create a backup your iPad prior to making any major change to it (i.e. updates). That way you can have something to restore your iPad from, should anything go wrong with the update.

C. Troubleshooting a Locked iPhone:

Your iPhone is locked. So, get this serviced.

Hold it Right There!

Being Locked Out...

Enter the passcode incorrectly too many times, and you'd likely be locked out for good. So, hold it right there, and refer to this link: If you Forgot the Passcode on your iPhone, or your iPhone is Disabled - Apple Support. It would be the one you've always entered. If you do not know it, then look for it in a location you may have stored it in.

No Success?

Contact Apple support:

If you cannot get the above link to work, then contact Apple Support.

Apple Contact Info:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there, as necessary
  • Why the Wait: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. With the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through.
