I bought an Apple Gift Card and the last 2 numbers are missing

Dear Apple Support,

I am writing to urgently request your assistance regarding a damaged Apple Gift Card I recently purchased. Unfortunately, while redeeming the card, I accidentally scratched off the last digit of the redemption code. I understand this significantly hinders my ability to utilize the card's value, and I am reaching out for your help in recovering the missing digit.

My husband and I recently purchased 2 iTunes cards. Both are missing the last 4 digits on cards. Instead of the codes containing 16 digits, ours only have 12. Unable to redeem them. Took them back to facility where we purchased them. They refused to replace them. Contacted Apple Support and they say there is nothing they can or will do. So basically we lost $100.00 on 2 $50.00 cards and Apple refuses to replace them and isn’t acknowledging they have a severe scam problem going on. Any one else having similar issues and knows how to fix this, please advise.
