When I paying for something using Apple Pay, I always have to double click the side of my phone as well as my face ID
Is there a way that I can just open up the Wallet and allow payment just by putting phone over the connecting machine and authorising by my face ID

Reading everything the double click is required to authenticate with Face ID I was hoping not to have to do this

What happens is, when I put my phone over to the machine to pay by Apple phone the wallet and card appears but I have to double click and also show my face ID when I’ve tried turning off the double click on my settings my face ID on its own doesn’t work to pay for anything

Yes the double click sometimes turns off the wallet when I’m at the till - I’ve tried assistive touch without success - any other alternatives?
