Hi team, I have purchased a MacBook Pro M1 everyday I have to purge RAM as I get notification saying RAM is full I have checked Activity Monitor and there is nothing that is using up a lot of RAM. WHY?
MacBook Pro M1 running out of RAM daily. My old MacBook Pro which I have had since 2013 never ever ran out of RAM and both are 8GB RAM. This 2023 has 512GB and only 45GB is been taken up with virtually nothing. I have tried logging in with different user which I set up but have the same issue. I installed Memory Cleaner which Apple recommended which shows % of RAM been used in status bar. I have noticed that as soon as I go onto the internet with Safari the RAM % jumps from 40% to 97% which tells me that the M1 chip cannot handle even opening a simple browser to search for anything. I,am totally gutted with this new MacBook Pro and I wouldn't even recommend it to anybody $2000,00 wasted. My mate has the same but his is a MacBook Pro 13 inch 2020 with 16Gb RAM and even he is having the same problem. Has Apple got a fix for this? My macOS is Ventura 13.4.1(c) and it is up to date. Any advice would be greatly appreciated Activity Monitor no apps using unusual amounts of RAM?
