Apple display flickers frequently with Thunderbolt adapter mini display to usb-c

I am SO DISAPPOINTED Apple is not responding to this common issue. I have a 24" Apple monitor that is connected with a mini display to usb-c Apple Original adapter. Both intel based and brand new M1 based Mac book pros showed similar issue. The flickering does not happen always and many times I get a long run with out any flickering that tells me that cable and monitor could be fine. I did not have this problem for a long time and suddenly this problem showed up like 3 months back. The creepy thing is I have two monitors of the same type and BOTH STARTED FLICKERING AT THE SAME TIME !!! This seems very dubious. What are the odds that both displays could go allegedly bad at the same time?
