My son’s international roommate left a locked iPhone 11 behind and he has no way of reaching him. How do we go about recycling it? We realize that it is useless since it’s locked to owner. It’s a very nice phone so we don’t want to throw it away.

You can drop it off at your local Apple Store or virtually any major electronics reseller for recycling.
