My external hard disk is not getting shown now.
May be after upgrade of OS. What is the solution?.
selected All devices in view of disk utility. Then also not shown.. HD was working fine before OS upgrade

Have you tried rebooting?
Is this isolated to one particular drive or universal for all external drives...(?)
You can try a different port, a different cable, a different adapter, a different drive and compare your results
