Trying to sort my Photo Files by Name, but it won't let me? Help!

Trying to organize my photos by folders. But it will not let me sort by Name. I been going down to SORT, and hitting Name, but nothing happens? What am I doing wrong? Thx.

Photos app has bunch of pics, PICTURES folder has hardly ANY pics? My Photos APP Library has almost 5,000 photos/videos, but the actual Pictures folder in Finder only has 1500-ish. I can't get all of my photos copied from the app into the actual folder so I can scan them for duplicates, UPGRADE my MAC, etc. I can't even do my updates because I don't have enough space! I've been trying to find an answer for DAYS and I am at my wits end. Everything talks about "Pictures file" but that's the problem...How can my Folder be so empty but the app have so many photos? Someone PLEASE say they know how I can get all my photos into finder's PICTURES folder? (Without doing it one by one?) I'm about to pull my hair out! Would appreciate anyone's assistance. PHOTOS CHANGING ORDER BUT NOT BY ME For the past couple of months, I'm noticing that every time I open up a photo folder on my 27" iMac, it goes to the bottom. Also, randomly I'll find the folders at the bottom or some other place. This is so frustrating. I share these photos/folders on my IPadPro, MacBook Pro, Apple 14 Max Pro. Not sure if this has anything to do with it. Thank you in advance for any guidance anyone can give me. Julie

photo folders When I try to upload a photo to an online site (say Ebay) from Photos I now only see individual photos to choose from and my Ebay Photos Folder is not displayed, only all my individual photos. This has only just started happening. I could always choose a Folder to get a photo from to upload until now. I just installed the latest Ventura 13 OS if that has anything to do with it. Can anybody help?

I’m in my Photos- organizing pictures by folder names. But when I hit sort by name, it doesn’t do anything?
