WhatsApp Messages issue

If I reply to a message (received at let’s say 10 am) at 11 pm, the screen automatically shifts to Top of screen/ latest message in my iPhone.

Now to see a message received let’s say at 10.05 am, I have to scroll down the whole day messages and reach 10.05 am message.

This is very annoying and puts lot of stress on eyes.

Whereas in Android phone, the screen does not shift to top/ latest message with the same process.

How to rectify this in iPhone??
