System data occupy 367GB out f 500 GB

I tried all possible steps to free up space on my MacBookk Air (including installing cleanmymac X) but system data still occupy 367GB out of 500GB storage. Any advice on how to free up more space?

OK...first thing I'd do is uninstall cleanmymac from your computer. This app actually creates as many issues as it solves. Go to their website to find out how to uninstall it properly, as just dragging the app to the trash won't remove all of it. Here's how to do this: https://www.macworld.com/article/676493/how-to-delete-system-storage-on-mac.html

Next, there's a good MacWorld article on how to reclaim some of that System Data space. You can find it here: https://www.macworld.com/article/676493/how-to-delete-system-storage-on-mac.html

Note that a lot of that System Data is needed, so please be cautious about what you delete.

Hope this helps.
