We have some recommendations for what you can try to get Bluetooth working as expected on your Apple Watch and AirPods. We would recommend completing the steps below and then testing the issue after each step to see if it is working again:


  1. Restart your Apple Watch: Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support
  2. Reset your AirPods: How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support
  3. Updating all of the devices you're using is important, including the Apple Watch and paired iPhone:


If the issue is continuing to occur after all of the above, we would recommend unpairing and erasing your Apple Watch and then pairing it again from scratch. During this process, your iPhone will automatically create a backup of your Apple Watch so as to prevent data loss. This will basically let us see if setting your watch up from scratch and pairing it again will help get things working as expected once more.
