Magic Keyboard and mouse charging indicator issues

When charging my Magic Keyboard or Magic Mouse via wall outlet, it does not show that it is charging. However, when I connect it to my iMac, the indicator shows its charging. Anyone having this issue as well? First image is when I plug the Magic Keyboard to a wall outlet, 2nd image is when I plug it directly to the iMac. Same issue when charging the Magic Mouse. This is the Magic Keyboard with Touch ID. I did try swapping the cables and still having the same issue.

Thank you for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. From the information you provided, it's expected behavior for either the Magic Keyboard or the Magic Mouse to not display the charging icon via the Bluetooth menu on your Mac while it's being charged through a wall outlet. You'll only notice this when it's charged directly to your Mac.
