The post-code (also known as zip, zip-code, postal-code etc)
is generally the number that is used to identify your locality within your city, and within your country.
If your letters are not addressed with a post-code number, and friends and neighbours or local post-office don't know or use a local post-code, there are various sites online that list post-codes world-wide.
