How do I stop/prevent a McAfee notification from periodically appearing in the upper right corner of my screen? The notification may say 'turn your McAfee antivirus on' or' Your McAfee antivirus has expired'. I have never had McAfee antivirus on my computer.

How do I stop a notification from McAfee telling me my antivirus has expired, OR that I should turn on my Mcafee antivirus? I have not had McAfee on my computer.
I followed your instructions to a T, but it didn't work for me. I'm still getting McAfee pop ups in the upper right hand corner.

Just want to thank stedman1 for his help. Apple personnel couldn't find a way to prevent the McAfee/Norton pop-ups in the upper right corner, but stedman1 could. Thanks again.
