..Orfidio..

Perhaps to refer this ASC discussion to your boyfriend

~ he may then notice, that you are being sincere here?

The URL would be 'read-only' from this discussion.

Another idea, you may be able to Erase those Emojis

from your iPhone or iPad; & selectively choose from

article links in search: How to clear/remove emojis.

Maybe for future use, if effort isn't seen as Sincere?

Haven't used emojis enough to consider 3rd Party

replacement iOS text keyboard for iPhone. Had tried

generic search w/ duckduckgo, & had mixed returns.

How to Clear Your Frequently Used and Recent Emoji from Your iPhone's Keyboard « iOS & iPhone :: Gadget Hacks

https://ios.gadgethacks.com/how-to/clear-your-frequently-used-and-recent-emoji-from-your-iphones-keyboard-0194226/

from the above:

"Despite its name, the Frequently Used section on your iPhone's emoji

keyboard features both frequently and recently used emoji, and it may

contain emoji you've never even touched. If you want to remove all of

those recommendations, there's an easy way to reset what you in

Frequently Used to the defaults."

Advice given by H1290, seems adequate. But civil discourse

may require 'additional nice-words' ~ before any final action.

Not sure how to Edit 'recent favorites' yet on my iPhone;

while that hands-off to my Mac, for Messages/iMessage.

..I've seen limited use of older and newer emoji features..

Hello Orfidio!

If you are being honest that you didn’t use these emojis, and you told him that, and he cannot trust you, then you are probably better off without him.

Tell him you have no control over which emojis an algorithm chooses.

Since it is a third party app, there’s not much advice we can offer, other than to reach out to the developer of the app, and tell him/her about your dilemma.

I wish you the best of luck in resolving this issue
