Bluetooth Connection Lag Issue with Mac Mini M2 and AirPods Pro 2
I've been a devoted Mac user since 2014, and recently I upgraded to a Mac mini M2 with 16GB RAM and AirPods Pro 2. While I've had a generally positive experience with Apple products, I've been facing an annoying issue with Bluetooth connections that I hope someone can help me with.
Back in 2020, I purchased a MacBook Pro 2020 with 16GB RAM, and whenever I connected Bluetooth earphones, it caused a momentary lag or stuck screen for about 1 or half a second. I attributed this to using two external monitors and got used to the occasional lag.
Recently, in 2023, I upgraded to a Mac mini M2 with the same 16GB variant. I'm using an Apple keyboard and trackpad. Unfortunately, the issue of the laggy cursor during Bluetooth earphone connect/disconnect persists, despite trying different earphones and even investing in AirPods Pro 2.
I did some research and found that Apple has its unique way of handling Bluetooth signals, which works seamlessly with their products. However, I can't help but wonder why, even after investing over $1400 in the new Mac mini and $260 for AirPods Pro 2, I'm still experiencing this lag, while my colleagues using basic $20 wireless earphones with a Bluetooth dongle on Windows are not facing similar issues.
I'd greatly appreciate any insights or solutions to resolve this Bluetooth connection lag problem, as it's affecting my overall user experience.
