After entering my wifi credentials, it loads for a while, then shows the globe icon, with an exclamation mark in a triangle. Text below says:

Can't find anything on the support website or even googling that error code. What does it mean?

Try resetting your Mac's PRAM: Restart your Mac while holding down the P + R + CMD + Option keys, and after you hear the machine boot-up chimes 3 separate times, let go of the keys.

Then restart and try the Internet Recovery Mode again.

That error appears to be related to this Apple support article:

If an error occurred while updating or installing macOS - Apple Support

If that does not help, please help us help you.

  • What Apple device?
  • What operating system is it running?
  • What were your doing when the error appeared.

Remember we cannot see nor touch your device. Getting specific and effective answers instead of generalities here depends on our having details only you can provide. Thanks.

It has no operating system as it’s had new card and battery. It’s 2011 mac book air. I’m trying to do internet recovery and I am pressing command and are together then gives the choose network option with grey signal fan. I then see my Wi-Fi network at home and put in the correct password and it tells me it’s the wrong password or just goes back to blank. I have tried plugging into the router Via ethernet cable and it shows the black signal fan for about five seconds and then gives up the 1 007 error message
