I recently purchased an Apple airpodpro 2nd generation two weeks ago. then I discovered one of the airpods has malfunction. I want to know how to send it to Apple for additional examination and how to change to a new one.

i would like to change the apple product which i bought and has warranty to new one because of malfunction

Apple support has info. online that may be helpful:


You might begin by entering the AirPods serial number online to check your warranty and receive instructions:

Find the serial number of your AirPods - Apple Support


Enter serial number to:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support

You can then follow the onscreen instructions

"Malfunctioned"? In what manor?

How exactly are your AirPods not functioning? Are you having power issues? If so, refer to the following....


Troubleshooting AirPods Power Draining:

A. A Few Links to Visit:







B. Try the Following Tasks:

  • Hold Down the Button on the case for about 15 seconds.


  • Use an Apple Brand Cable - not a third party one - cool though it may look, a fabric, third-part cable would likely tear - (Apple cable's are plastic and are intended for Apple)


  • Remove the AirPod from the Case, then place it back in the charger. Perhaps it need to resync with he charger.
