I want to send my partner an apple gift card over to the USA. Can I buy one here and email it to her ?

If you buy a giftcard from Apple, you have to use it in the country that you bought it, click here for the whole article.
For example: If I buy a giftcard in the UK, I can't use it in the USA.
Maybe you can try to buy it via Apple USA, click here to buy a giftcard on Apple.com
