Trying to add my wife to Apple Card as co-owner, we are already family sharing and she recently got an iPhone. The by her name when I try to add is that she is unavailable for sharing

published Bank rules; from get go, no?
The 'sharing' aspect wording is sketchy.

Hi, please ignore the post above. The post is inaccurate. Apple Card most definitely has a co-owner option and there are two ways of inviting someone to be a co-owner.
Is your spouse currently a participant? Does your spouse have an individual Apple Card account currently and you want to merge two individual accounts into one joint account?

may also be contacted; but should not be necessary.
Setting up the Apple Card from the beginning as shared
account is easier than later, but not an impossible fact.
PS: read the exceptions beneath article's Rules.

Another option is simply use any other bankcard
to allow the other person to transact accordingly.
..A different regional bank, may offer better tools..
