I can't connect my airpods pro 2 to the iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)

As I can see it is possible to connect airpods pro 2 to iMac only with macOS Ventura and nothing different. Is it true and maybe there are some ways to do it? Because it's sounds crazy, system works only by bluetooth, what's the problem?

The technical requirements of the AirPods Pro v2 is that you are running the current operating system (e.g. Ventura) and the Late 2013 iMac can run nothing newer than Catalina. So that Mac would not be compatible with these Air Pods.
