The Apple Card has no student exceptions or versions.

You must comply with the requirements for Apple Card and the credit score and evaluation to be approved.

If you are not eligible, then you will need to get a card from a different issuer. If you want to make monthly payments on the Mac, you would need to find a card issuer that offers installments on purchases with Apple. This would not be in Apple's realm as it would depend entirely on the 3rd party card issuer or bank.

Apple for the card and Goldman Sachs will do a soft pull of your credit to determine if your credit profile qualifies for an account. A soft pull does not affect your credit score or your ability to request credit from another lenders.

Some banks specifically have student accounts, such as Bank of America and Chase Bank.
