I can’t access my gmail

i reset my iPhone and I’ve been trying to sign into my gmail. After I put in my password it says that google sent a notification to my iPhone. And to open up the google photos app and there will be a notification. When I open up my google photos app nothing shows up. There is no prompt. It’s the only option I have to log in. I turned on notifications on in settings and tried logging in with a different iPhone and android. Still nothing. No prompts.
