Hi IR1962,

You started from a great resource: If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

As recommended in the article be sure to check to see if you use Notes with more than one email account, and that each is enabled. You can also check the notes from that account directly.

If the issue remains check your recently deleted folder with the help of the steps below, also found in the same article.

"If you store your notes on iCloud, check your Recently Deleted folder:

  1. Open Notes, then tap the back icon Tap the arrow icon until you see your Folders list.
  2. Tap Recently Deleted and search for your note.

If you find your note in Recently Deleted or in another folder, you can move it:

  1. In the Notes list, tap Edit.
  2. Select the note that you want to move.
  3. Tap Move, then select the folder you want to move it to."

If the issue remains, be sure you're connected to cellular or Wi-Fi and restart your iPhone to see if your Notes are back. If needed, the articles below can help.

Connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

If you previously used iCloud to sync your notes and aren't seeing any of the content on any device after testing the steps, reach out to Apple Support directly to assist. You can get connected using the link here: Get Support

Cheers.
