I have created a couple morning alarms in my new phone and they keep resetting to the loudest settings? I turn them down under settings and an alarm will be blaring, so I go back to the main settings - sounds area and it’s turned back up again? I turned off all haptics in case that did it, and it’s not. I do not have it turned on to change with buttons. I also have it locked. I’m using alarms under the clock. Help?

If your alert volume will not stay at the level you set, you'll want to make sure you've covered the basics like restarting the device and making sure it's up to date.
Also, make sure the Attention Awareness Features option is turned off. If this is enabled, the device will play alert sounds at a lower volume when you're actively looking at it, but will play them at a louder volume when you're not looking at the device.
Turn Attention Aware features on or off on your iPhone or iPad Pro

This is exactly my question and I thought I’d managed to get my alarm volume at an appropriate level and it only lasted about 3 weeks. I’ve manually turned it down again😏 - the fixes suggested ‘attention aware’ & to update and restart is not the issue.
