Unable to update software on Iphone to IOS 16.6

Hello,

i have a Iphone 13 Pro. With 28Gb of free memory available.

current IOS version im on is iOS 16.5.1 (20F75).

I keep getting an error message when try to update to IOS16.6

error message states Unable to to check for software updates.

ive tried force resetting my phone, Ive also tried reset network settings / tried Wifi and network and still same issue.

it wont also let me remove my current software too.

any ideas why this is happening?

Update Using a Computer:

Have a Computer Handy? What happens when you use a computer to update? If WiFi does not work, then connect your computer to Ethernet, and use that instead. Use my User Tip Update your iPhone Using a Computer - User Tip. If any updates are availabe, they will install, sure enough
