How to turn zoom off a locked iPhone?

My mother in law did a zoom on her phone and now I can’t lock it or log in with the code

Try double-tap the screen with 3 fingers. You may have to experiment a bit with the speed and timing of the double-tap.

I turned on zoom and I can’t work my password to get into my phone band shut it off I went into my settings and apparently hit zoom and now I can’t get into my password code to turn it off
