How do you deactivate the UpNext feature on movies and series on Apple TV.

I cannot deactivate the UpNext feature on the APPLE TV movies or series.

There have been answers that point to settings / accessibility in the app. But there is no such setting in the browser version. I have subscriptions to several other streaming services, all of which I access and watch using a web browser, and have done for many years. The other services provide auo-play that can be easily disabled through the always on-screen setting icon, or more inconveniently by exiting the current series and accessing the settings from the home screen. But at least it can be done in *every other* online streaming service. Why is apple tv+ so backwards and behind-the-curve in this respect? (I will shortly be deciding whether or not to continue my subscription).

If you start watching something in the Apple TV app, then it will be added to Up Next.

You can remove a show or movie from Up Next, but when you watch it later, it will be added again.

What it is that you don’t like about Up Next? You can ignore it if you want.
