how to get video to full screen size. videos too narrow & have wide black borders on each side

Hi,


You would need to Crop to Fill using the Crop control button (the one shaped like intersecting angles) in the toolbar at the top right of your screen. You could then make the clip fit the screen, although you would lose some display area in the clip.


If these are vertical iPhone clips, you can use the Crop tool to rotate them sideways to fill the screen. Then export to your desktop, open them in QuickTimePlayer, and rotate the movie right side up. The clip would still be narrow, because that's the aspect ratio in which they were originally recorded, but the back bars would be gone.
