I read an article here on apple discussions about someone claiming to use apple pay with standard charted card in Pakistan I wanted to know what exact card is he/she using that works on apple pay as my standard charted basic debit card does that work i want to know exact card which is compatible to be used on apple pay in Pakistan using a standard charted debit/credit card

The easiest way to answer your question is to call the bank that issued the card. They would know if they support Apple Pay or not.
The problem is that its not officially supported in Pakistan but this specific bank supports apple pay in an another country example: UAE , but i read a article on this platform the a person is using a card of the bank for apple pay , i want to know the specific name of the card , as when i add my card to apple pay it says your bank does not support this card for apple pay so meaning it does support other cards of the bank i want to know the specific card , but asking the bank directly they will say it doesn’t support apple pay as they only have info about it working in my country officially
I understand what you’re saying. But the bank knows when a card is used with Apple Pay, chip or swipe. The issue is Apple Wallet knows where your iPhone is. You’ll have to travel to another country to add the card, which may not be supported either.
