I accidentally deleted my desktop files from my phone for more storage..

Me and my family use family sharing, and my Mac was using up all of the storage. So when I clicked on documents and data there was a button that said delete documents and data, and at first in the info, it only said that it would be deleted off of my phone which I found kind of weird because my desktop isn’t on my phone. It is only on my laptop and it said it would only be deleted off my phone so I clicked it delete documents and data but now it deleted it off of my desktop and now I don’t have anything on my desktop. I don’t have my documents. I lost all my documents folder. There’s nothing on it and I can’t. There’s nothing in the trash so I don’t know what to do to recover them. Please help.
