why is my Face ID disabled? it won’t work for me. I have an iPhone X/10
My Face ID won’t work. I use it all the time for passwords,notes,and many other things. I need my Face ID.

This is generally a hardware issue. If the unit's on an OS version older than 16.6, you might be able to fix it by updating it from a computer or the Software Update function in Settings; otherwise, contact Apple Support.
