Surprise call outs

Iphone 13 places calls when I place it down. Does not happen every time, but these "butt dial" situations are far too frequent and have the potential to create awkward or embarrassing situations, particularly when the phone is also used for business. This problem has nothing to do with Back Tap because the only Back Tap activated on my phone is for the flashlight. Any other explanations and solutions?

It seems every time Apple comes out with another update, changes are made that tend to cause more problems than they solve. Changes made for the purpose of appearing to be avant garde and cutting edge is of absolutely no value to customers if those changes are not BETTER. Linear change isn't even a good enough reason! Better, no new problems, or leave it alone, please!!!
