I am trying to move an app icon to the very front from the way back within the same folder, each time I try the icon immediately moves back to the very back of the folder.
I don’t know what to suggest, as I have even done that move. Try dragging it just one level at a time.
You should be able to drag the app icon to any position within the folder, and, if it’s on a different page of the folder drag it to the edge until the next page appears, then position it where you want it. I do this pretty routinely to re-arrange my folders. So just practice a bit.
I too but for some reason I can’t upload the video I recorded, as I have done in the past hold the icon until it wiggles the hold finger and drag said icon to the folder, what’s different is I am dragging an icon from a third level of the folder to the top level and when I release my finger said icon slides back to the third level it was initially positioned.
